Description

Bill created this painting for the 2013 Prix de West Invitational Show at the National Cowboy & Western Heritage Museum in Oklahoma City, OK. Of the piece, Bill stated: “The cowboy in this painting is Clay Rodgers, who was born and raised on Babbitt Ranches in northern Arizona, and now lives there with his wife and four children. As a working cowboy, much of the time he lives a life of solitude and independence. On this particular day he has high hopes for rain as he observes the sun rising, casting rich colors on the storm that is brewing.”
