Description
This painting was created for the 2003 Prix de West Invitational and it won the first Express Ranches Great American Cowboy Award. Early that same year Bill was thrilled to be presented with the opportunity to enter into a partnership with Clay Tyree and Dean Cameron, running Corriente cattle on the DG Ranch located north of Wickenburg, Arizona. This painting features Dean who has been a Director on the Board of the scholarship organization Bill founded in 1995 for many years. Dean’s wife, Shawn, is also an artist who generously donated art for the scholarship organizations annual fundraisers, and participated at Prix de West for the first time in 2003 – it was quite an eventful year!
