Of this 2009 piece created for the annual Cowboy Artists of America Show held at the Phoenix Art Museum, Bill Owen stated, “Of course, this isn’t what the colt has in his mind. Many times I think of humorous things that an animal could be saying to another animal; it’s kind of a game with me. I’ve done it forever and have a lot of fun with it, and it often becomes the title for the piece. When I told my wife this one, her reaction made me know it was what I had to name the painting!”
