Bill’s statement on this piece: ‘Cynthia Rigden, whose ranch has been in the family for generations, raises some of the nicest Longhorns you’ll ever see. This is just one of her older steers. Cynthia’s ranch is nearby, so often when driving by, I’m able to enjoy seeing them. I spotted this guy one day and knew I wanted to paint him, so I called Cynthia, who is a friend, and made arrangements to go over and photograph him.” This piece was created for and sold at the 2010 CAA Show.
